Well, we received the syllabus today, but thank goodness that we did not go through it word for word. I could not have handled hearing one more procedure.
Today, Mrs. Kiel began with a minute read and started Tuesday's with Morrie. She read for about 8-10 minues and then we all participated in an ice breaker. I know another one! After we finished, Mrs. Kiel shared the classes results from People Non-Bingo.

Mrs kiel I am not sure if i posted this in the right area this time but,you should not blame your self for us failing the test and also you said you didnt prepare us well enough.. I believe your a good teacher and i learned alot from it.

making us retake it is nice but it is our fault we had a week and the weekend to prepare,if a student dosent care about their grade then why give them another chance? you taught the subject well we just didnt bother to care and when I say we I also am talking about me.

many people say high school is supposed to prepare you for the future and i dont think my boss would like it if i made fifty percent of a car and fifty percent on my test score as well.

if i posted this under my real name it would be a blood fest.

Tuesday February 5, 2008:
At the beginning of class we all received a packet, which had been the whole story of "The Raven" poem. We then listened to "The Raven” which was narrated by Christopher Walken on the teacher's laptop.
After listening to the poem we had to answer two questions in our journal about what was the mood the speaker felt during the story and what was the feelings of the speaker's emotions and personality in your mind. When we finished our questions of "The Raven" we were assigned in a separate group to read “The Raven” aloud and talked to the text after reading it. I believe talking to the text in this story helped give me a clearer understanding of what this story was about. You should try it too because it works!

Where the Scribes Are in Control.....

A scribe is a student who has been assigned to log what is done in my class for a specific day. It is the scribe's responsiblity to make sure that they keep track of what goes on in class, as well as list what was done in class and the assignments that were given for that day. You will receive a grade based on how complete your post is. Be as accurateand as thorough as possible, but have fun. Happy Scribing!
