Well, we received the syllabus yesterday along with a student contract and grading policies. Thank goodness that we did not go through the syllabus word for word though. I could not have handled hearing one more procedure.
After we did some housekeeping, we did some great icebreakers. I beleive that this will help us become a stronger team. As long as we work together, we can accomplich ANYTHING!

I am so ready for this to get going. I am especially excited for the photo assignment. Good luck everybody!

Today, we talked about the teams that would be assigned, and recognized the editors and broke into our groups. We also talked about the blog assignment, and although I am not todays scribe, I thought I'd do it anyways.

Mrs. Kiel I really belive you are wrong in saying that it is your fault for not preparing the class best enough to get a some what ok grade. If we really cared about our lives shouldnt we have crammed for the test ? everyone knew that it would be hard but they refused .. so your blaming your self because we would rather hang with our friends? go shopping ? pick out things for homecomming ? than study for a test. Its our lives and we shold take responsibility for what we didnt do isnt that what high school is supposed to prepare you for ?

p.s. ur still a good teacher! :)

Today we started to read The Crucible. We read pages 3-8 on our own. Then as a class people volunteered to read the parts for extra credit.

Where the Scribes Are in Control.....

A scribe is a student who has been assigned to log what is done in my class for a specific day. It is the scribe's responsiblity to make sure that they keep track of what goes on in class, as well as list what was done in class and the assignments that were given for that day. You will receive a grade based on how complete your post is. Be as accurateand as thorough as possible, but have fun. Happy Scribing!
